Getting Started
Genome Based Diagnostics is a clinical diagnostic laboratory specializing in advanced molecular testing both at home and through provider partnerships. We use evidence-based, laboratory-validated methods to help patients and healthcare providers detect, monitor, and understand health conditions with greater accuracy.
Yes! Our tests are physician backed and validated according to CLIA lab certification standards to ensure high accuracy, reliability, and reproducibility. Awarded as the most accurate lab diagnostics company in 2024 based on our performance summary, we have high standards for testing accuracy and procedures. Each test undergoes multiple quality checks before results are released.
Yes! Our tests are available as at-home collection kits that are mailed directly to you with easy-to-follow instructions. We also have local drop off and pick up available for anyone near our facilities in Carlsbad, Ca.

Currently, we only sell our at home test kits on our Shopify shop. You may also call or email if you have any questions. Simply select your test with our fast and easy check out and follow the instructions provided.
Packaging & Shipping
All kits are packaged discreetly with no identifying medical information visible on the exterior. We believe it’s on the inside that matters- no labels, no logos, just accurate screening from home.
All at home test kits include prepaid return shipping. Any exceptions will be clearly noted before purchase.
We ship to and accept samples from 45 select U.S. states based on regulatory requirements (not accepted from MD, NJ, NY, PA, or RI) using our prepaid 2-day UPS shipping. Availability is shown during checkout.
If local pickup is available, instructions and pickup details will be provided here or via customer support.
Patient Accounts & Privacy

Yes. We comply with HIPAA and State privacy laws. Your genetic and personal data is protected and never sold.
Refunds
We have a 30-day return policy, which means you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.
